NET ZERO COLLABORATION

As a proud signatory of the Net Zero Pakistan Program, our company stands at the forefront of the textile industry’s commitment to minimizing carbon emissions in line with the Paris Agreement’s goals. In this collaborative initiative, we are dedicated to scaling up our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint significantly by 2050. As a responsible textile company, we recognize the imperative of combating climate change and are actively taking necessary measures to achieve this mission. We understand that sustainability is not just a trend but a critical aspect of our business, and we are dedicated to staying ahead by adopting innovative practices and technologies that align with our commitment to a greener, more sustainable future.

SBTi COMMITMENTS

Our company has formally entered into a commitment with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for the Net Zero Program. As part of this commitment, we are allocated a two-year timeframe by SBTi to prepare and submit a comprehensive carbon footprint roadmap with the ultimate objective of achieving carbon neutrality. This roadmap will encompass precise technical details and strategies, ensuring that we meet the rigorous criteria set forth by SBTi. We are fully engaged in this process, recognizing its significance in aligning our environmental goals with scientifically driven and quantifiable measures to attain a net-zero carbon future.

GREENER PAKISTAN

In 2023, our company continued to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship by planting an impressive 5,000 trees, following our successful tree plantation of 3,000 trees in the preceding year of 2022. These efforts align perfectly with our corporate responsibility to foster a greener environment, safeguarding the well-being of all living creatures on this land. Notably, we have initiated the establishment of a green belt in the vicinity of our operational factory, a vital measure to mitigate the environmental impact of our industrial activities. The green belt, comprising carefully selected native flora, not only serves as a natural carbon sink but also enhances biodiversity, air quality, and overall ecological health. By undertaking these initiatives, we are actively contributing to a sustainable future and exemplifying our commitment to technical and environmentally sound practices in our industry.

GREEN ENERGY

The installation solar panels at our factory represents a significant leap towards sustainable and environmentally responsible energy practices. These solar panels harness the power of the sun to generate a substantial portion of our electricity needs, reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and minimizing our carbon footprint. With state-of-the-art technology and efficient solar panel design, we are able to convert sunlight into clean and renewable energy with remarkable efficiency. Moreover, our commitment to renewable energy not only aligns with global climate goals but also serves as a beacon of inspiration for our industry peers, showcasing the technical feasibility and meaningful impact of transitioning towards sustainable solutions for a brighter and more eco-conscious future.

ENVIRONMENT EXCELLENCE

We are incredibly honored to have received the Annual Environmental Excellence Award’ 2023, in recognition of our unwavering commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly practices. This prestigious accolade underscores our relentless pursuit of a greener, more responsible future. Through tireless dedication and innovative approaches, we have not only met but exceeded our sustainability goals, setting new industry standards along the way. This award is a testament to the collective effort of our entire team, who have embraced the principles of environmental stewardship, from reducing carbon emissions to conserving resources and fostering biodiversity.
